Do I need to be at home to accept my delivery when it arrives?

We realize that you may not necessarily be home when your delivery arrives. While we strongly recommend you are present to accept your delivery in person, it is not mandatory. No need to worry – if you’re unavailable at time of delivery,our courier partner will leave the rug in a safe place until you arrive home.

Can I track my order while in shipment? How?

After you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email from RugsbyIndia.com. Once your order has been shipped, we will contact you again with the necessary shipping/tracking information. You may use that information to login  to track your shipment by confirmation number.

In the case of a return, please follow these simple steps:

• Contact us within 15 days of the receipt of your rug
• In case you receive a damaged/defective item, notify us within 48 hours of receipt. We might request you to share the picture of the rug at info@rugsbyindia.com.
• We will send you an email with the return shipping information
• Wrap the rug in its original packaging or equivalent
• Follow the information sent to you in the email

Please note that shipping cost back to our warehouse is the responsibility of the clients except in cases where the rug is defected. We do not provide refunds as a result of rugs damaged or soiled while in the client’s possession.
